Opening ceremony at China Plant

On June 8th, 2011, Ishikawajima Shibaura Machinery Changsyu CO.,Ltd held an opening ceremony for its new plant in Changshu, Jiangsu China.

More than 150 guests including Vice President of IHI Corporation, Executives from Caterpillar Inc, Secretary-General and Executives from Development Zone of Jiangsu and Executives from IHI Shibaura Machinery Corporation attended the ceremony to celebrate the completion of ISM new manufacturing plant.

The new factory will strengthen Shibaura's ability to reduce costs, manage exchange risk and respond quickly to the demand in the rapidly-growing Chinese markets.
