Joint venture between Shibaura and Perkins have started small diesel engines production in China

A new joint venture company starts production in China. The joint venture, Perkins Shibaura Engines (Wuxi) Company Limited (PSEW), established between IHI Shibaura Machinery Corporation (ISM) and Perkins Engines Company Limited (Perkins) started production of off-highway small diesel engines in Wuxi China.

The opening ceremony was held on 27th November 2008 at the facility with the honourable guests, customers and Chinese government officials and congratulatory speech was given by Mr. Yang Weize of Provincial committed, Wuxi Municipal Party Secretary. Mr. Nishimura of President of ISM expressed at the ceremony that the importance of Chinese market and engagement to support this joint venture to be a success.

PSEW are the third joint venture between ISM and Perkins after UK and USA and this new factory provide better services for the customers in China.
